Less is more. Your Copywriting Bible.
Your dream customer just ignored you again. Not because your product or service is bad,
you're just speaking to them the wrong way.
Attention spans are at their lowest average time EVER. You have less than a second to stop your dream customer from scrolling. You need to say the most impactful thing in as few words as possible.
Here are 3 life-changing rules that make them stop. The best part? You can implement them right now.
1) Stop Speaking French
“We, we, we” Nobody wants to hear about you; they want to know what you can do for them. Instead of saying “we are the best at xyx”, try “Are you looking for the best xyz?”.
2) You’re going to hate this, but
Negative hooks are 29% more likely to make someone take action. So instead of saying “we made a client $10,000”, try, “Are you making this $10,000 mistake?”
3) Simple sells.
Say less, use basic words. Don’t overcomplicate and try to wow people with intimate knowledge and terms; just tell them what they get out of it.
